"For any of y'all out there who might be considering using State Farm and Mike Gibbs as your agent, let me tell you about my recent experience. Hopefully, this will be helpful information for you and cause you to look elsewhere. Let me start by saying I've always paid my monthly bill on time and have NEVER had even one claim. Around the first of May, Mike threatened me if I didn't get my trees trimmed by May 29th, he would cancel my homeowners insurance. I filed my first and only claim saying the shingles on my roof have been and are still blowing off my roof. The very day the adjuster came out to inspect my roof, my homeowners insurance was cancelled. The way I found out was I received a bill by email that day just for my car insurance. Threat made and threat executed. Mike had no problem taking my payments, but when it came time for him to help me, he couldn't be bothered. I have kicked State Farm and Mike Gibbs to the curb, then calling Compass Insurance to assist me in getting a new company for all my needs. For warned, is for armed. Just saying."
