Mike Gibbs

A native of Los Angeles, California. Mike has been a resident of Aurora, Colorado since 1999. A former two sport college and high school athlete that earned varsity letters in both basketball and baseball. Furthermore, he was a member of two back-to-back City Championship teams at Fremont High School, Los Angeles. In 1991, this team was ranked 2nd in the state of California and as high as 8th in the nation by USA today. While playing basketball at Santa Monica Community College, the team won back-to-back Conference Championships. At Humboldt State University, Mike was a starting small forward and graduated with a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance. In 2014, Mike graduated and earned the ChFC Designation from The American College of Financial Services.

Mike Gibbs - State Farm Agency has over 35 years of combined industry experience. We are heavily involved in several Colorado Communities and love being a part of such an amazing area. Since 1999, Mike has personally given over 22,000 community hours to youth sports, CASA, Salvation Army, trade shows, non-profits and various local Colorado Charities. We are members of The Aurora Chambers of Commerce & NREB. Mike joined CHSAA as a registered High Basketball Coach in 1999 with coaching stops at: Bishop Machebuef, Grandview, Montbello, Overland, Ponderosa, Highlands Ranch, Black Hills State University, RMAC, Division II and is the current Assistant Boys Basketball Coach at Cherry Creek High School. In addition, Mike is a volunteer AAU coach with Colorado Basketball Club, CBC for GUAA 17U girls. Mike truly loves giving back to the local communities and student-athletes!
